After my own patio roof install turned into a learning adventure, I became obsessed with making these projects accessible to everyone. I run a workshop space in my garage, host neighbors for Saturday build-days, and document what actually works versus what the internet got wrong. When I'm not covered in sawdust or aluminum dust, I'm testing new materials, troubleshooting with friends' projects, and writing detailed guides so others don't repeat the mistakes I made.
